    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title</strong>: Powerplant Engineer</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Department:</strong> Engineering</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Reports To</strong>: Director of Engineering</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>POSITION PURPOSE:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide aircraft engineering analysis , configuration control, and obtaining engine modification and repair data</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that approved data is used in the development of EOs and EAs that are used for maintenance, repair, and modification of fleet engines and appliances.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide engine shop support to determine proper build specifications, thus enhancing dispatch reliability in accordance with regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Obtain regulatory approval when required for modifications / repairs performed on Kalitta Air powerplants and components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interface with the Director of Powerplant Division and the CASS EHM Analyst in order to assist in developing corrective action plans based on ECM data.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop product improvement modifications as directed by reliability indicators.</li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have an engineering degree, or equivalent work experience (min. 5 years in the powerplant engineering field)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:1.2pt;\">Ability to read, Write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write fuel slips and complete reports. And able to understand directions given. And understand the fueling manual.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:1.15pt;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
