Explore opportunities with us and help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Group: Road</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position: Drainage Engineer</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Tampa or Orlando, FL</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted  Drainage Engineer to become the next integral member of our Florida Road Group.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide FDOT Roadway Support, particularly focusing on drainage design and implementation </p></li>\n <li><p>Lead permitting efforts, ensuring compliance with WMD Permitting Processes </p></li>\n <li><p>Lead pond siting activities, utilizing best practices and analysis methods </p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in pursuit activities related to drainage projects, contributing technical expertise </p></li>\n <li><p>Mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field </li>\n <li>Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license</li>\n <li>Proficiency in FDOT Drainage preferences</li>\n <li>Familiarity with WMD Permitting Processes</li>\n <li>Experience in pond siting methodologies</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in ICPR/HECRAS software </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
