    "description": "<p>Small and Large Diameter Pipe Layer work on construction project sites where they are responsible for the safe and efficient instillation and repair of small and large diameter pipe. Perform tasks involving labor at construction projects. Generally, the duties performed by Large Diameter Pipe Layer are shown in the job description example below:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capable of laying pipe, connecting and sealing pipe connections in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures. </li>\n<li>Use, Repair and maintain construction hand and power tools. </li>\n<li>Calculate and adjust grade using levels and lasers. </li>\n<li>Set materials in place </li>\n<li>May be required to read and interpret construction materials. </li>\n<li>Cut pipe to specified lengths. </li>\n<li>Give hand signal instructions to operators. </li>\n<li>Follow all safety precautions at all times. This includes wearing protective gear and maintaining active communication with all other construction crew members. </li>\n<li>Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the well being of others. </li>\n<li>Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program. </li>\n<li>Safely pack and store work materials as directed by the site supervisor. </li>\n<li>Other construction related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements and Skills</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Below are the major skills, abilities, and knowledge that we expect candidates for the construction laborer job to possess to be considered for an interview appointment:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge: must have good knowledge and understanding of construction plans and designs, of heavy equipment operation, and how to handle tasks in a construction site. </li>\n<li>Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience. </li>\n<li>Education: may not be educated but must have the ability to understand written and verbal instructions is important. He/she must be willing and ready to learn new ways of handling construction tasks.</li>\n<li>Communication: must be able to understand written and verbal instructions and must be willing to adhere to plans and directives.</li>\n<li>Health &amp; Safety: applicants will be required to obtain health and safety certifications to be hired.</li>\n</ul>",
