    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Ford Dealer Technical Training Instructor will be responsible for delivering technical training to <strong>Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)</strong> Dealer technicians. This position will provide coaching, technical expertise, and encouragement while allowing technicians or students structured opportunities to improve their own proficiency. They will utilize state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and workshop exercises to enhance the technician’s automotive knowledge.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>One should enjoy making connections and building rapport with others in a fast-paced, collaborative, hands-on environment. Lab and classroom instruction may be delivered at a customer or non-UTI facility.  Effective presentation skills are vital in this role, as well as the ability to ensure standards and goals are met in a given timeframe; this may include independent decision-making. (Develops and creates lesson plans, visual materials, evaluations, practical applications, and demonstrations).</li>\n <li><strong>Mentorship: </strong>Presents and coaches technicians during workshop exercises.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety First:</strong> Ensures that all Safety Regulations and OSHA requirements are met and adhered to. Reports unsatisfactory conditions immediately and/or takes immediate action to resolve them.</li>\n <li><strong>Administrative:</strong> \n  <ul>\n   <li>In cooperation with the OEM training department, ensures the complete availability of training handouts, required tools and equipment items, and records the training outcomes as directed by OEM management.</li>\n   <li>Completes assigned administrative tasks promptly.</li>\n   <li>Adhere to all the guidelines of the OEM Corporate Travel Policy</li>\n   <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Expected Travel:</strong> 25%</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or GED </li>\n <li><strong>Experience: </strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prior history as an automotive technician required.</li>\n   <li>Technical experience with OEM vehicles required</li>\n   <li>Prior OEM instructional experience preferred.</li>\n   <li>Five years’ experience as an instructor in a technical field preferred.</li>\n   <li>Prior history as an OEM technician preferred.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Communication Skills:</strong> Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with technicians/students, fellow staff, and OEM dealer personnel</li>\n <li><strong>Organizational Skills: </strong>Planning, prioritization skills, time management skills, and deadline-oriented, can adapt to a changing environment</li>\n <li><strong>Computer Skills:</strong> Knowledge of MS Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
