This individual will be responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans to meet sales growth and profit targets.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Market Sensing &amp; Strategy&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape for the product group.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Develop market segment-specific strategies and define segment &ndash;specific value propositions that beat the competition.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Develop product roadmaps that aligns with Robertshaw strategy.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Design go-to market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy and partnerships.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Work with all Robertshaw Global Functions on the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Product Roadmap Development &amp; Launch</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Be the opportunity champion for NPI projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Drive a healthy NPI Funnel.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide demand forecast inputs to S&amp;OP.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Attend customer meetings in support of winning new business.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide inputs to Marketing for the development of collateral, including e-commerce.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Execution &ndash; Post Launch Product Management&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Manage the P&amp;L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolio.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Deliver sustained profitable growth.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Enable sales to promote product line via training and the development of collateral materials that help articulate the value proposition.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Track progress to the business plan and facilitate resolution to gaps.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Be the champion for resolution of product issues (e.g., quality, delivery, etc.).</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Be the frontline support and liaison between engineering (NPI and Sustaining), operations, customer service, pricing team and sales for the assigned products. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Be the control tower for issues/questions.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">4+ years of product management, business development or other relevant experience</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Strong business acumen with an ability to understand technically complex concepts</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Proven ability to multi-task and drive results in a dynamic, high paced environment</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Strong interpersonal, planning, organization and teamwork skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experienced leader with an ability to influence cross functional teams and to build strong relationships both internally and externally</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information both up and down the organization</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Nice to Have</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&amp;L management experience preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Relevant product or industry experience desired.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Education</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">4-year technical or business degree required.</li></ul><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"340\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The base salary range for this position is <strong data-start=\"43\" data-end=\"67\">$120,000 to $135,000</strong>.
