Our mission is to empower individuals to live successfully within their communities or independently, according to their personal goals.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span><span> We are currently seeking a responsible, caring, and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Direct Support Professional in Mount Oliver, PA.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Provide direct care and specialized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Assist individuals in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and transportation to work or community activities.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Promote independence and engage individuals in home and community activities based on their preferences.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Observe and report any changes in individuals’ behaviors or physical conditions.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Maintain effective communication with all levels of administration.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Perform household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping as needed.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Document required paperwork each shift (observation notes, goals, petty cash, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Foster positive decision-making, interactions, and relationships with individuals.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Transport individuals to appointments, community outings, day programs, work, etc.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Attend mandatory staff training and meetings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Valid driver's license required</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Willingness to engage individuals in community activities and assist with participation outcomes</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must complete 24 hours of annual training</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Sign on and other bonus potential for eligible employees after 90 days of employment </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Paid training</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Dental, life, illness, injury, and vision insurance </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Career development opportunities (initial and annual training)</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Paid Time Off after 1 year of employment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Application Instructions:</span><span> If you are compassionate, dedicated, and motivated to help others, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling role. iHomecare Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve by joining our team.
