          "text": "<p><strong>Summary</strong>- Transports material to and from manufacturing departments at point of use locations. Receives, stores, and issues materials. Transports tools, equipment, and products within the organization.<br>\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:<br>\nUnder general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:<br>\n• Unloads materials from department manufacturing areas and places in specified plant locations.<br>\n• Delivers materials to point of use locations per manufacturing flow instructions.<br>\n• Support deployment and sustainment of Kanban systems.<br>\n• Issues parts to work orders according to pick lists.<br>\n• Receives and stores parts from work orders and purchase orders to stock.<br>\n• Retrieves and transports materials for loading and unloading to trucks and/or departments as required.<br>\n• Moves parts which include performing weight counts; updating material identification tags.<br>\n• Assists in maintaining inventory control (e.g. performing cycle counts and physical inventory)<br>\n• Drives and maintains preventative maintenance on fork lifts, vehicles, and industrial tuggers.<br>\n• Follow all Senior policies and procedures<br>\n• Other duties as assigned.<br>\nIn addition to the above, Material Handlers are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
