We are looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Habilitation Specialist to provide care to the individuals we support at the Laura Dester Children&rsquo;s Center (LDCC). The LDCC is an&nbsp;Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) that serves 25 clients who do not require physical assistance with mobility or feeding. Most direct support work focuses on habilitation and behavioral management.&nbsp;You will work with children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities as well as behavioral support needs and mental illness.</p><p><strong>WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Empathic individuals who want to make a real difference in a person&#39;s life by coming to work every day!</li><li>We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, caring people who know the value of communication.</li><li>Flexible and willing to adapt to change. The level of support may vary depending on the needs of the individual.</li><li>Must be 21 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid Drivers License.
