    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><h1 id=\"isPasted\">Job Summary:</h1><p>Utility Locating Technicians protect underground i3 Broadband fiber-optic utilities from damage during projects involving digging or excavation. Utility locators pinpoint the paths of cables and conduits that carry utilities underground. Their work takes them through easements as underground utilities pass through neighborhoods and beneath the property of homeowners.&nbsp;</p><h2>Duties/Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Safely, accurately, and efficiently locate all underground i3 Broadband fiber-optic utilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area; Identify and locate and accurately mark the utility location.</li><li>Complete necessary work for the entire extent provided by locating tickets issued by JULIE and documenting all work on an internal i3 Broadband work ticket.&nbsp;</li><li>Photograph each locate and upload photographs to necessary systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate professionally and courteously with utility managers, work crews, i3 staff, homeowners, and contractors to discuss and resolve locate issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Prioritize work by reviewing locate requests to determine efficient routing and planning; Work closely with manager to establish and maintain efficient daily work schedules.</li><li>Use a company laptop to document and close all work orders/service requests.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain company vehicle in clean condition and in good working order.
