          "text": "<p>In this role,&#xa0;you’ll&#xa0;bring Vuori designs to life—turning concepts into production-ready&#xa0;products&#xa0;through sharp commercial judgment, strong vendor partnerships, and disciplined calendar management. As a Senior Product Developer focused on apparel,&#xa0;you’ll&#xa0;sit at the center of Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Planning, Production, and our factory partners—guiding decisions on construction, costing, timelines, and quality.&#xa0;You’ll&#xa0;own the details, influence the outcomes, and help deliver innovative, on-brand product that hits margin, timing, and performance expectations.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What you'll get to do:</strong></p><ul><li>Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your assigned category—from concept through production readiness.&#xa0;</li><li>Deliver against margin, calendar, quality, compliance, and buy readiness targets for your categories.&#xa0;</li><li>Lead vendor cost negotiations to hit target margins while protecting product integrity and brand standards.&#xa0;</li><li>Diagnose cost drivers and recommend commercially&#xa0;viable&#xa0;construction/material options that support the business strategy.&#xa0;</li><li>Own the accuracy of product data in PLM (style details, BOMs, costing, technical attributes, and buy readiness status).&#xa0;</li><li>Drive cross-functional alignment ahead of key milestones (Line Lock, Buy Readiness, PO Release).&#xa0;</li><li>Operate as a PLM power user and process advocate—spotting opportunities to improve data quality and team efficiency.&#xa0;</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between&#xa0;vendor&#xa0;partners and cross-functional teams (Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Production, Materials, Trims/Color).&#xa0;</li><li>Clearly communicate technical, cost, and calendar tradeoffs to enable fast, informed decisions.&#xa0;</li><li>Partner with Design and Technical Design to ensure tech packs support innovation, function,&#xa0;fit, and commercial viability.&#xa0;</li><li>Participate in fittings and keep vendor communication crisp,&#xa0;accurate, and commercially aligned.&#xa0;</li><li>Oversee performance and compliance testing; proactively&#xa0;identify&#xa0;and mitigate risk before&#xa0;buy&#xa0;readiness.&#xa0;</li><li>Maintain&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;WIP status and proactively manage time &amp; action calendars to deliver on-time milestones.&#xa0;</li><li>Hold vendors accountable&#xa0;for&#xa0;sample submissions, development timelines, and cost transparency.&#xa0;</li><li>Partner with Production to ensure a seamless handoff from development to bulk execution.&#xa0;</li><li>Mentor and develop Assistants, Associates, and Developers through training, coaching, and feedback.&#xa0;</li><li>Model professional communication, confident negotiation, and solution-oriented problem solving.&#xa0;</li><li>Champion process discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team.&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering,&#xa0;Manufacturing&#xa0;or equivalent&#xa0;years of experience preferred&#xa0;</li><li>7+ years of product development experience, with a strong understanding of managing product&#xa0;from concept&#xa0;through commercialization.&#xa0;</li><li>Must&#xa0;possess&#xa0;strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, and all pre-production processes.&#xa0;</li><li>Strategic understanding of timelines and deadlines in relation to a seasonal calendar&#xa0;</li><li>Knowledge of materials used in the&#xa0;development&#xa0;and manufacturing processes used to build products.&#xa0;</li><li>Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Excel and PLM systems (Centric&#xa0;a plus).&#xa0;</li><li>Intermediate computer drawing skills for technical and construction details; Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong sense&#xa0;of style, trend, and market awareness.&#xa0;</li><li>Aptitude for systems and systematic work.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><em>Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements</em></p><ul><li>International travel experience is a plus; possible international travel&#xa0;required&#xa0;</li><li>Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from&#xa0;up to&#xa0;25lbs, depending on need.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
