As a Systems Safety Engineer, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in evaluating new technologies, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring safety is built into every phase of system design and deployment across TSA facilities.</p><p><strong><u>General Description</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">The Systems Safety Engineer provides technical support in systems safety engineering and systems engineering to assist the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with acquisition and infrastructure safety initiatives.</p>This position supports safety assessments for new technology implementation, checkpoint and checked baggage area reconfiguration, and review of architectural and engineering documentation associated with new construction and facility modifications.
