Kelvion &ndash; Together, We Shape the Future</p><p>The Role</p><p>The Shop Cleaner / 5S Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization and safety in the shop floor area according to 5S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain). This position plays a critical role in supporting a clean and efficient work environment to improve productivity and reduce workplace hazards.</p><p>What you will be responsible for:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash from shop floors, break rooms, restrooms and offices as needed.</li><li>Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with 5S standards.</li><li>Restock cleaning and janitorial supplies as needed.</li><li>Conduct routine 5S audits and assist teams in correcting non-compliance areas.</li><li>Support continuous improvement by identifying areas for better organization or cleanliness.</li><li>Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums and power washers.</li><li>Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.</li><li>Report on maintenance needs or safety concerns to the appropriate department.</li><li>Work independently or with team members to always ensure a clean and safe environment.</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management</li><li>Ability to load trucks.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li></ul><p><u>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</u></p><ul><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward workplace&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</u></p><ul><li>Previous industrial cleaning experience a plus.
