    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Bartender</strong></p>\n<p>Serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, achieving a high level of guest satisfaction.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong>  </p>\n<p>Beverage Manager/Restaurant Supervisor – Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage Manager</p>\n<p><strong>Your Focus</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain clean and organize bar areas.</li>\n <li>Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.</li>\n <li>Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.</li>\n <li>Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.</li>\n <li>If applicable, take orders, and serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas.</li>\n <li>Issue guest check and complete payment process. </li>\n <li>Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests. </li>\n <li>Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.</li>\n <li>Complete required side work prior to shift end.</li>\n <li>Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Assist with taking beverage inventory.<strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.<strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure overall guest satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Background and Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma preferred.</li>\n <li>TIPS certified a plus.</li>\n <li>Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.</li>\n <li>Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and different shifts.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching with arms. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>This property is a part of the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division of HHM Hotels. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>HHM Hotels is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
