    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Position Summary:</span></span><br><span>We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor &amp; Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients during labor, assisting with deliveries, and supporting both patients and families in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period</span></li>\n<li><span>Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and maternal vital signs; respond appropriately to changes in patient condition</span></li>\n<li><span>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and epidural support</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams during vaginal and cesarean deliveries</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and their families throughout the birthing process</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Respond to obstetric emergencies and participate in rapid interventions when needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and newborns</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain)</span></li>\n<li><span>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)</span></li>\n<li><span>Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor &amp; Delivery experience preferred (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered)</span></li>\n<li><span>Current certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB)</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience in high-risk obstetrics</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Work Schedule:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Full-time and part-time opportunities available</span></li>\n<li><span>Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Salary Range:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>$32.00 – $48.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications</span></li>\n<li><span>Additional shift differentials and incentive pay may apply</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive compensation package</span></li>\n<li><span>Health, dental, and vision insurance</span></li>\n<li><span>Retirement plan options</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid time off and holiday pay</span></li>\n<li><span>Continuing education and professional development opportunities</span></li>\n<li><span>Supportive team environment focused on quality patient care</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Equal Opportunity Employer:</span></span><br><span>We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
