    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a <strong>Network Infrastructure Engineer</strong> to support our <strong>Colorado Springs, CO</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a mid career level Network Infrastructure Engineer. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure environments</li>\n <li>Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPN technologies, and associated network devices</li>\n <li>Support VLAN configuration, routing, switching, and enterprise connectivity requirements</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot network, firewall, VPN, and connectivity-related issues</li>\n <li>Support VMware-connected networking requirements within virtual environments</li>\n <li>Assist with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure support activities</li>\n <li>Support cybersecurity hardening and compliance activities including STIG implementation </li>\n <li>Develop and maintain network documentation and operational procedures</li>\n <li>Participate in infrastructure modernization, implementation, and sustainment activities</li>\n <li>Support additional infrastructure technologies and specialties as mission requirements evolve </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting enterprise networking environments</li>\n <li>Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, and network troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Familiarity with firewall and VPN technologies</li>\n <li>Familiarity with VMware virtual networking concepts</li>\n <li>Familiarity with cloud networking concepts</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li>\n <li>Travel: 10 %</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>TS/SCI</strong> clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active <strong>TS/SCI</strong> clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field</li>\n <li>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be capable of working in an office, datacenter, and laboratory environment</li>\n <li>Lift and move up to 50 lbs, including installation and handling of IT equipment as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cisco, Palo Alto, or other enterprise networking certifications</li>\n <li>Experience supporting VMware environments</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS networking concepts</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, or automation concepts</li>\n <li>Experience supporting Linux and Windows server environments</li>\n <li>Experience supporting DoD or federal enterprise environments </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Estimated Time To Hire:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>July 2026</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits offered can be found here: Benefits PeopleTec.
