Some examples of potential topics include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Steel mill operations and downstream processing (for Steel Dynamics STEP Trainees)</li>\n   <li>Sales and customer relationship management</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Shadow experienced team members across departments (operations, procurement, sales, etc.) and gain hands-on experience.</li>\n <li>Complete weekly logs of activities completed throughout the week and participate in weekly touch-base with program manager.</li>\n <li>Participate in internal training classes as directed.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate growth in knowledge, initiative, and leadership potential throughout the program.</li>\n <li>Network with internal and external customers.</li>\n <li>Follow all company protocols and policies regarding safety, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree in a related field</li>\n <li>Willing to travel for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Willing to work in an industrial/hands-on environment (outdoors and around heavy equipment)</li>\n <li>Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and commitment to personal and professional growth</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Willing to follow all safety regulations and advocate safety culture</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Willing to relocate upon completion of the program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</strong></em></p>",
