They use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create technical drawings and specifications that detail the size, shape, and materials needed to manufacture a product.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Design mechanical systems:</span> Design and develop mechanical systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed schematics and models of mechanical systems.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Conducting research:</span> Conduct research to develop new technologies and products, and to improve existing systems.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Developing prototypes:</span> Develop prototypes of mechanical systems, including designing and building prototypes, testing them, and analyzing their performance.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Testing and debugging:</span> Responsible for testing and debugging mechanical systems to ensure they operate as intended. This may involve conducting laboratory tests, writing test scripts, and simulating system behavior.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication: </span>Responsible for communicating project status, progress, and any changes to stakeholders, including management and any other departments.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maintenance:</span> Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems to ensure they continue to be manufacturable.
