In this role, you will work on dynamic, high-profile projects while delivering a fully integrated, superior experience to our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Dillon, we operate as one team. This position is available at our <strong>Windsor, North York, Oakville, Hamilton and Kingston offices.  </strong>We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What your day will look like</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Analysis & Design</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analysis and design of surface drainage, dual drainage systems, open channels, closed pipes, bridges, and erosion/scour protection.</li>\n <li>Complete comprehensive watershed and sub-watershed scale hydrology investigations and hydraulic assessments.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement innovative stormwater management strategies and detailed designs to mitigate flooding for land development, municipal servicing, and transportation projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project Coordination & Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and assist Project Managers and engineering leads with water resources deliverables across various project scales.</li>\n <li>Participate in fieldwork, including field inspections, reconnaissance, data collection, and monitoring programs as required.</li>\n <li>Assist with the preparation of technical reports and proposals by organizing data and drafting content aligned with project scopes. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development & Innovation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to business development activities, client need research, and proposal preparation.</li>\n <li>Support artificial intelligence initiatives within the Water Resources discipline.</li>\n <li>Travel to other Dillon offices upon request.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Learning & Professional Growth</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to continuous self-development, ongoing learning, and professional advancement.</li>\n <li>Enhance Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> A degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.</li>\n <li><strong>Core Skills:</strong> Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 1 to 3 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry (entry-level candidates with strong foundational skills will also be considered).</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Modeling:</strong> Familiarity with professional hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, or similar tools.</li>\n <li><strong>Design Infrastructure:</strong> Hands-on experience or familiarity with the detailed design of stormwater management systems, culverts, bridges, sewers, and open channels.</li>\n <li><strong>Regulatory Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with local, provincial, and municipal regulations, policies, guidelines, and environmental permitting requirements (knowledge of federal and provincial flood line mapping guidelines is a strong asset).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p>\n<p>$58,000-$85,000 </p>\n<p>Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
