    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position:</strong> Room Attendant&nbsp;<br><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Room Attendant is responsible for creating a comfortable yet luxury experience for our guests at The Otesaga Resort Hotel. This position is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the guest rooms, Cooper Inn, General Manager&rsquo;s home including cleaning and deep cleaning of guest room restrooms &amp; bedrooms/parlors, guest floor hallways, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning windows and mirrors, high dusting. Attention to detail is of utmost importance in this role.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>To successfully perform this job, an individual must perform each essential duty listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.</em></p><div style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Provide on the floor assistance to hotel guests, Inspectors, co-workers and answering relevant questions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Ensure all restrooms are cleaned thoroughly, walls, etc. and cleaned at least every two hours.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Learn and educate on the Otesaga&rsquo;s process and policies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Suggesting new ideas based on customer preferences and feedback.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Monitor and maintain inventory and par levels related to guest rooms, including but not limited to coffee supplies, bathroom amenities, linen, toilet paper, Kleenex, cleaning supplies, etc.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Responsible for keeping room attendant closets stocked with linen, amenities, water, cleaners and washing guest room glasses.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Assist with linen inventories, vacuum maintenance, floor machine maintenance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Receive instructions from Manager, Inspector/Supervisors.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Work with appropriate manager to successfully respond to any guest complaints or concerns.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Assist co-workers as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Assist guests as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The person in this position needs to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Minimum of 3 months experience in hospitality industry</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Preferred experience as a janitor, houseman or room attendant work experience in hotel, motel, nursing home or hospital.&nbsp;</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Ability to workdays, nights, overnights, weekends &amp; holidays as required&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Strong knowledge of teamwork&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Sound knowledge of floor machines.&nbsp;</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Excellent organizations and time management skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Set a positive tone and strong work ethic, leading by example.</li></ul></div><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Knowledge of cleaning &amp; disinfecting restrooms</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Ability to carry and climb a ladder to clean chandelier, ceiling lights, fixing drapes</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Maintain professional presentation (must adhere to company and department dress code)</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Outstanding guest service skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Ability to determine proper chemical for cleaning tile, wood, brass, glass, carpet cleaning.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>These physical requirements for this position may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, and/or move for extended periods of time (approximately 8 to 10 hours), twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
