Ex: respect for each person as an individual, kindness, and loyalty.</li><li>Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be able to work at any Northfield Retirement Communities Long Term Care, or Assisted Living facility as assigned.</li></ol><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ol><li>Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.</li><li>Ability to set tables and to pour beverages.</li><li>Assists with distribution of meal trays.</li><li>Ability to set up carts for serving, and then serving the meal in a timely and pleasant, professional manner, maintain the utmost in dignity and grace so as to provide as pleasant a dining experience as possible.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of dining room, coffee bar, and kitchen area, following sanitation procedures.</li><li>Assist in the proper care, use and cleaning of kitchen equipment.</li><li>Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of kitchen equipment.</li><li>Follow menus and prepare food and beverages.</li><li>Store food in compliance with dietary procedures.</li><li>Details interior areas on a regular basis using general cleaning tools and equipment (i.e. broom, mop, vacuum, etc)</li><li>Ensures a safe, clean environment for residents and co-workers. &nbsp;Initiate corrective action.</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Accept and complete assignments timely, cooperatively and accurately.</li><li>Consistently work cooperatively with residents, and staff.</li><li>Come to work in a neat, clean uniform with nametag and gait belt and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance.</li><li>Come to work as scheduled and demonstrate dependability and punctuality.</li></ol></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
