    "description": "<p><span>U1 Sports/Fieldston </span><span>Premier Sports Camp came is an action-packed summer camp experience. Our campus has an Olympic size swimming pool, which our Aquatics Director oversees along with our Certified Red Cross Lifeguards. Our state-of-the-art gymnasium(s) and turf fields allow for all sporting activities to take place on campus grounds. Not to mention, our campus will be able to host our NEW Fantastic Fridays, which consist of camp-wide athletic competitions and action-packed activities such as paintless paintball/laser tag, zip-lining, rock climbing, adventure ropes course, and water activities to name a few. Each athlete’s group activity changes on a daily basis. Each group will have 2 of the following sports and sessions on any given day. Basketball, Lacrosse, Soccer and Flag Football. We also offer Instructional swim.</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span>Provide individualized and small group sports instruction in accordance with the curriculum and the </span><span>needs of each student.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Provide differentiated instruction based on the student’s individual level of learning modalities and offer alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness and skills.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff and facilitate the development of confidence, character and community.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits and good social and emotional adjustment.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability while teaching cognitive concepts related to motor skills and fitness.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Requirements:</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span>Ability to conduct recreational activities with youth equipment operation.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Ability to participate in physical activities such as swimming, field sports, and physical team building activities.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Serve as a positive role model to all campers.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Must be punctual and organized.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Assist Campers in both physical and emotional needs.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Communicate with Camp Director when necessary.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Genuinely care; engage and participate with campers.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Problem solve through situations and seek assistance when necessary.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Facilitate and/or Co-Facilitate structured and unstructured activities.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Attend all camps staff meetings</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Help to maintain and secure all equipment and supplies of the program.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Maintain a clean and safe environment</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Maintain a positive, inclusive, caring, respectful environment. </span></li>\r\n<li><span>HAVE FUN!!!</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>Relations with others:</span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span>Able to work with children ages 5-15 years old and able to work well with other Coaches.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>*To be considered a successful candidate, you must have related experience in recreation, sports, youth programs and summer camps.* </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>Does this sound like you?</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>A love and passion for working with young children</li>\r\n<li>A love and passion for sports</li>\r\n<li><span>Demonstration of enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.</span></li>\r\n<li><span>Flexibility and ability to cope with change.</span><br></li>\r\n<li>Fun and bubbly personality<br></li>\r\n<li>Excellent organization and time management skills</li>\r\n<li>Reliable and Committed</li>\r\n<li>CPR/First Aid Certified OR willing to become certified</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span>We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.</span></p>",
