    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">***We are currently in Overland Park, but are moving to the Olathe, KS are in 2026.***<br><br><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">**PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED**<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.49.19/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" id=\"isPasted\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Electronic Test Technician&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:00am-11:00am</p><p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>Use a variety of tools and equipment to align, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>Troubleshooting &amp; Repair</p><ul><li>Repair units to the component level, that fail production acceptance testing&nbsp;</li><li>Determine root cause of failure</li><li>Perform rework to eliminate root cause(s)</li><li>Retest the reworked unit, passing production acceptance testing to the same level criteria as a non-reworked unit</li><li>Appropriately balance amount of time invested troubleshooting with the board value/BOM cost (collaborate with supervisor &amp; engineering, when to scrap, etc.)</li><li>Maintain required documentation on all activities</li></ul><p>During Testing</p><ul class=\"decimal_type\"><li>Ensure work-station is in proper working order (clean, well-lit, tools ready, personal protective equipment is applied, etc.)</li><li>Review paperwork such as BOM&rsquo;s, Work Orders, wiring charts, engineering drawings, diagrams, etc. for each project</li><li>Follow all established test procedures for Navigation Aids (NAVAIDS), Surveillance Radios, and other Products</li><li>Perform tests on Digital, Analog, and RF Circuits - down to the component level, or up to the top system level</li><li>Perform testing on a variety of parts, pieces, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, modules, and systems&nbsp;</li><li>Perform a variety of test types including pre-tests and final acceptance tests</li><li>Use a variety of Electronic Test Hardware: Multimeters &amp; Digital Multimeters, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes (100 MHz - 2GHz), Frequency Counters (2 GHz), Spectrum &amp; Vector Signal Analyzers (2-6 GHz), Network Analyzers (1.5 GHz), Signal Generators (Vector, Pulse, or Function), Peak &amp; Average Power Meters, Commercial Off the Shelf Test Equipment (COTS), etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Verify systems and sub-systems meet industry and customer specifications&nbsp;</li><li>Meet deadlines per agreed upon Scope of Work documentation, to ensure timely product delivery.&nbsp;</li><li>Interface with our Engineering and Production departments for product reliability.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of RF circuit theory.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with Electronic Test Equipment (Hardware and Software)&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Education/Experience: AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent is desired. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 18 months experience in testing avionics or similar equipment is desired. &nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 2 year&rsquo;s experience in the assembly, test, troubleshooting and repair of digital, analog and RF circuits to the component level preferred. &nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 workmanship standards preferred</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to pass a U.S. government background check investigation.</li><li>Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.&nbsp;</li><li>Lifting of heavy test equipment and systems up to 50lbs individually.</li><li>Appropriate manual dexterity needed to work with variety of hand tools. &nbsp;</li><li>Vision correctable to 20-20, with no color blindness. &nbsp;</li><li>May involve long periods of standing on one&rsquo;s feet. &nbsp;</li><li>For successful performance of this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
