They collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, and other stakeholders, to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of Epic applications. This role involves a deep understanding of Epic Systems&#39; healthcare software and the ability to manage projects independently.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</u>:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Included all job functions from Epic Application Analyst III</li><li>Epic Implementation and Configuration:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Lead and participate in the implementation and configuration of Epic applications based on organizational needs and requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of Epic modules.</li></ul></li><li>Project Management and Team Mentoring:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Provide regular updates to managers on project statuses, issues, and risks.</li><li>Collaborate with IT leadership to align Epic initiatives with the organization&#39;s overall IT strategy.</li><li>Ensure your mentee has a thorough understanding of the Epic applications they are working on. This includes proficiency in Epic modules relevant to their role.</li><li>Help your mentee develop strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex issues within the Epic environment.</li><li>Share your experiences in troubleshooting and provide guidance on effective problem-solving strategies.</li><li>Guide your mentee in project management aspects related to Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.</li><li>Share insights into managing timelines, resources, and expectations within the context of Epic projects.</li></ul></li><li>Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Investigate and resolve complex issues related to Epic applications, ensuring minimal impact on daily operations.</li><li>Collaborate with technical support and vendors when necessary to resolve escalated issues.</li></ul></li><li>Quality Assurance:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Perform quality assurance checks on Epic configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and best practices.</li></ul></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>BA/BA required with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience or 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare maybe substituted.</li><li>Epic certification in one or more relevant modules Epic certification in relevant modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Prelude, Cadence).</li><li>Several years of experience working with Epic applications, with a focus on implementation, optimization, and support.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Project management experience and ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook).</li><li>Ability to work on rotational after hours and Saturdays as needed.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodology (JIRA) ticketing system (preferred).</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>LANGUAGE:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to read and write English fluently is required.</li><li>Fluency in other languages is an asset.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>STATUS:</u></strong></p><p>This is a FLSA Non-exempt position.<br>This is not an OSHA high-risk position.</p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">NEMS is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer welcoming diversity in our workforce.
