    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are currently seeking an <strong>Supervisor - Datacenter </strong>that will be a critical member of a U.S.-based global systems integrator providing technology solutions and services for commercial and government clients. This is a full-time permanent role supporting a key client for our program in <strong>Clarksville, TN</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Supervisor position is critically important to the success of Vision Technologies. It is a position created to instill the culture of the company at the field level. We will measure the Supervisor’s ability to affect the outcome and create shared values through several methods. Some of the methods are concrete such as budget and profit-oriented measurements. Some others are more abstract, like customer satisfaction and the ability to motivate the people under them.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The following criteria are some of the ways that he/she will be measured:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Customer satisfaction</li>\n <li>Performance against the budget</li>\n <li>Improvement in overall gross margins</li>\n <li>Achieving the goals and objectives</li>\n <li>Evaluation of Foreman and Lead Technicians against the model</li>\n <li>Morale of the field</li>\n <li>Ability to conduct regular performance feedback with the personnel assigned to them</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure consistency in delivery among Foremen.</li>\n <li>Ensure conformance to Vision Technologies quality standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure effective use and projection of manpower.</li>\n <li>Develop good customer relation skills in Foremen.</li>\n <li>Develop budget knowledge and budget control practices.</li>\n <li>Enhance Foremen's abilities to recognize and procure change orders.</li>\n <li>Utilize project management tools to manage projects.</li>\n <li>Promote and teach strategic thinking.</li>\n <li>Ensure Foremen process paperwork correctly and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Establish guidelines for and promote field engineering.</li>\n <li>Establish project ownership among Foremen.</li>\n <li>Establish the value proposition of the Operations Supervisor to field personnel.</li>\n <li>Perform site surveys to augment the Pre-Sales Engineering Department.</li>\n <li>Provide project status reports to management.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate ability to manage and motivate personnel effectively.</li>\n <li>Evaluate Foremen and lead technicians, and provide regular feedback on performance.</li>\n <li>Ensure the Operations Department is meeting the goals and objectives of the company.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years of related industry experience.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of fiber terms and troubleshooting is needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to drive a company vehicle throughout the day.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical demands of this position are those that are necessary to meet the responsibilities and essential functions of this position.</li>\n <li> Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Education / Certifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>BICSI Technician, Industry manufacturer certifications, OSHA30 safety certification, HILTI powder actuated tools, or Confined Space - preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Work Authorization</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Background & Drug Screening Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must pass a background investigation, a 10-panel drug test, and driver’s license check</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Additional Perks/Benefits</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off & Holidays</li>\n <li>401K with Company Matching</li>\n <li>Tuition & Training Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Leadership Development Training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>Vision Technologies, a national and global systems integrator, provides IT services and solutions for commercial and federal clients.
