    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A kind and busy downtown-based family of six is looking to hire a full-time nanny to help with their 4 kids (ages 4, 3, and 2, 6-month-olds). The family already has one full-time caregiver but is looking to add to their team. The role can be Monday through Friday or ideally will cover one weekend day. The role will be 40-50 hours per week with a 7 pm end time. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel occasionally, including travel to Montuak in the summer.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work in partnership with the parents, full-time nanny and full-time baby-nurse to coordinate coverage and care for all 4 children.</li>\n <li>Provide a pitch in mentality and attitude to help ensure the daily routines and care run smoothly. </li>\n <li>The three-year-old has special needs and receives PT, speech therapy, and other supportive therapies, and a significant amount of time is spent taking to/from appointments and working on developmental goals at home - candidates will be expected to support this setup moving forward. </li>\n <li>All aspects of full-charge care when required</li>\n <li>Maintain all daily routines: naps, meals, and activity schedules</li>\n <li>Child-related housekeeping: laundry, tidying bedrooms, vacuuming playrooms, organizing supplies</li>\n <li>Engage the child in age-appropriate play and enrichment activities</li>\n <li>Support developmental milestones through tracking and active participation</li>\n <li>Provide a warm, structured, and nurturing environment</li>\n <li>Help with light cooking (Plus if comfortable preparing simple family meals)</li>\n <li>Travel with family domestically and eventually internationally- as well as travel preparation: packing/unpacking, planning logistics- rare</li>\n <li>Generally, being a very positive and supportive presence in the home.</li>\n <li>Create structure and systems in the home to help develop independence</li>\n <li>Occasional pet care- dog has a dog walker, but will need a willing attitude to pitch in</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with multiple young children</li>\n <li>The parents are actively involved, and the candidate must know when to fade in and out of the background while still tending to child-related tasks, and know when to step back in, especially when the family is sharing an intimate moment</li>\n <li>Have a level of sophistication when interacting and addressing the family’s broader family and guests</li>\n <li>Emotionally intelligent, professional, and discreet</li>\n <li>Strong team player who is also capable of taking initiative while being respectful of parents’ wishes</li>\n <li>Experience working with children with special needs or a background in fields such as physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy, or special education would be a Major plus for this role and family.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable with pet care </li>\n <li>Comfortable working on a team and in a fully staffed home</li>\n <li>Must be able to swim </li>\n <li>US passport, Green Card or EAC </li>\n <li>Passport ready and willing to travel both domestically and internationally, roughly twice per year</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$40-45++/hr- Flexible and OPEN for HIGHLY qualified candidates </li>\n <li>All industry standard benefits</li>\n <li>Metrocard</li>\n <li>Healthcare stipend</li>\n</ul>",
