Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Role:</strong> PRN, on-site patient rounding and overnight telephonic call </li>\n <li><strong>Patient Population:</strong> Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule: </strong>Weekend PRN, PRN vacation weekday coverage (minimum of 1 weekend per month)</li>\n <li><strong>Employment Type: </strong>PRN for weekends and vacation coverage</li>\n <li><strong>Daily caseload: </strong>caseload will vary</li>\n <li><strong>EMR:</strong> Cerner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients.</li>\n <li>Participate in daily treatment team meetings.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.</li>\n <li>Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fully staffed Medical Staff Services office providing administrative support.</li>\n <li>Opportunity to work with residents through Georgia South Psychiatric Residency and medical students with PCOM-South Georgia campus.</li>\n <li>Collegial work environment with other psychiatrists, NPs, PAs, therapists and nurses.</li>\n <li>Flexible schedule </li>\n <li>Supplement current income</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry </li>\n <li><strong>Training: </strong>Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency.
