To learn more about who we are, visit www.discoveryco-op.crs &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Territorial Gas Bar Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all Discovery Co-op, industry, and governmental policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards. &nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for the safe handling and preparation of raw and/or cooked chicken for Chester’s Chicken menu items in the C-Store, including cleaning, cutting/trimming, displaying, pricing, packaging and serving customers.</li><li><p>Performs general housekeeping duties, assisting team members when necessary, and any other duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Who you are: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:</p><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li><li>1-2 years food preparation experience would be an asset. &nbsp;</li><li>Co-operative retail experience is an asset.</li><li>Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required upon hire.</li><li>Must be comfortable working with different types of equipment such as scales, knives, pricing equipment, step ladders, etc.</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity and lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Must be able to work regularly in cooler temperatures due to products in department.</li><li>Must be able to work around hot temperatures associated with the preparation of hot foods.</li><li>Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.</li></ul><p>A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Team Members interested in the above position are to inform their immediate supervisor of their intentions before they approach the contact person. &nbsp;We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those selected to continue in the recruitment process will be contacted. &nbsp;</p><p>Our Discovery Co-operative Ltd.
