The welding robot operator will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of welded metal components by operating, setting up, and maintaining automated robotic welding systems. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is located in <strong>Delaware, OH</strong> and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay: </strong>$30 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule:</strong> Bi-weekly </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Training will be on 1st Shift (2 - 4 weeks) </strong></p>\n<p>Monday – Thursday</p>\n<p>6:00am-4:30pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Welding Robot Operator </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Following the production orders, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies by teaching the robot and executing robotic welding.</li>\n <li>Execute welds in accordance with company’s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing minor malfunctions as needed.</li>\n <li>Inspecting finished welds for conformance to specifications.</li>\n <li>Verifying and documenting welding processes and any variations.</li>\n <li>Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Welding Robot Operator Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years’ experience in robot operation – robotic welding strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.</li>\n <li>Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.</li>\n <li>Methodical, organized, and precise.</li>\n <li>Proactive in proposing solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Joining Wieland’s team gives you…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits</strong> - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> - 401(k) contribution + match.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance</strong> - Paid Vacation & Holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong> - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
