    "description": "<h2>All About You</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Quality Engineer</strong> will provide support to the QA and other teams on quality principles for monitoring and improving process and product quality. Supports the Saft World Class initiative as required.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide quality engineering support to all departments including engineering, operations, program management, etc. </li>\n <li>Generally assist with identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity (Lean manufacturing), quality and client/supplier relationships. </li>\n <li>Support customer/supplier communications (complaints, rating, product quality concerns) and ensure compliance of process specifications to customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Participate as necessary in change order review process.</li>\n <li>Train and/or support inspectors, coordinators, and operators in daily operations</li>\n <li>Utilize root cause analysis tools to determine true root causes of product and process defects.</li>\n <li><strong>MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Extensive experience with supplier management/validation is required. </li>\n   <li>EITHER a degree plus 3 years of quality engineer experience.\n    <ul>\n     <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred </li>\n     <li>Experience must be in a manufacturing environment</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Quality engineering experience in an ISO-9001/AS9100 environment preferred</li>\n   <li>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred</li>\n   <li>Experience with First Article Inspection is preferred</li>\n   <li>Working knowledge and experience with Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred </li>\n   <li>Proven experience in statistical process capability (SPC) analysis desired</li>\n   <li>Configuration Management experience is required, preferably with AS9100-D </li>\n   <li>Audit process knowledge preferred (AS9100-D, ISO 9001:2015, Nadcap, etc.)</li>\n   <li>Investigation of non-conformances and continuous improvement using RCCA tools such as 8D, 5-Why, PFMEA</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of laboratory protocol, inspection tools and manufacturing equipment </li>\n   <li>Desired certifications include: IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, AS9100-D Internal Auditing </li>\n   <li>Six-sigma knowledge or certification preferred.</li>\n   <li>Review of customer documentation to include contracts, statements of work, purchase order quality clauses, drawings and specifications</li>\n   <li>Candidates must have excellent record keeping and organizational skills, good interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills and computer proficiency.</li>\n   <li><strong>MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER</strong></li>\n  </ul><p><u> </u></p><p><u>Working Conditions</u></p><p><u> </u></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Dry room atmosphere – low humidity, air conditioned</li>\n   <li>Safety glasses required</li>\n   <li>Standing – 50%</li>\n   <li>Sitting 50% </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Whether you are just getting started or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package to include generous compensation based on market standards, healthcare, wellness, adoption assistance, discounted stock purchase, career development and recognition programs.
