    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p>The primary purpose of the Data Uniformity Specialist II (Coding/Operations) position is to review, research and resolve problems and errors concerning inpatient and outpatient coding operations, be the coding software “subject matterexpert,” facilitate and track payor coding audits/adjustments and compile productivity and quality data for HIM coding and operations. This is done to support, maintain and improve the efficiency, continuity, and quality of all HIM operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Carefully review and appropriately redact requests for the release of sensitive health information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies. This includes data related to HIV/AIDS status, mental health diagnoses and treatment, substance use history, and alcohol-related medical information.</p></li>\n <li><p>Examine and process subpoena requests that involve protected health information, particularly those concerning HIV/AIDS, mental health, substance use, and alcohol-related records. Ensure that all legal and confidentiality requirements are met before any information is disclosed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conduct thorough chart reviews to identify inconsistencies, omissions, or discrepancies in patient records.
