Overview Hourly Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour Location: 3585 S Camino Real Washington, UT 84780 (On-site) Schedule Options: + All shifts every other Wednesday Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm 6:30am - 4:15pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm 6:30am - 4:15pm Are you a aspiring leader who thrives in high-acuity environments? Do you bring firm boundaries, clinical awareness, and a heart for healing? If so, Sunrise invites you to join our mission-driven team as an Assistant Supervisor, a vital role in our trauma-informed, residential treatment program for adolescent teens. At Sunrise, we blend clinical excellence with heart. Set against the serene backdrop of southern Utah, our campus offers a safe, home-like environment where girls and boys ages 12–17 can heal, grow, and thrive. We specialize in relational, experiential, and evidence-based care that addresses trauma, emotional regulation, and family systems. Responsibilities Lead with Purpose: Lead and train life coaches by modeling interventions, answering questions, and managing escalated situations. Strategic Delegation: Assign responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth, efficient shift operations. Thorough Orientation: Guide new hires through a structured, checklist-based on-shift orientation. Continuous Development: Facilitate weekly training sessions and provide ongoing coaching to elevate team performance. Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate staff performance regularly, with formal quarterly reviews. Accountability & Discipline: Address performance issues professionally using structured disciplinary protocols. Clear Communication: Share key shift updates during handoffs to maintain continuity and transparency. Team Representation: Advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings. Safety Leadership: Conduct quarterly safety drills and model best practices to maintain a secure environment. Qualifications Adolescent Behavioral Health experience: Minimum 2 years working in a behavioral health setting. High acuity or residential preferred. Meets Core Requirements: Must be 21+, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and pass a Utah State background check. Committed and Prepared: Willing to commit for a minimum of 8 months and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting. Student-Centered Knowledge: Able to learn student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols. Leadership-Driven: Leads by example with strong teaching, motivational, and team-building skills. Professional Collaboration: Works effectively with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nurses. Calm Under Pressure: Skilled in communication, prioritization, and safely managing crisis situations when needed.
