To Be Successful in This Role Recognize the level of trust families place in you and approach your work with professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence. Conduct behavioral assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), treatment planning, and progress monitoring in accordance with BACB ethical standards and payer requirements. Design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with client needs, family goals, and measurable clinical outcomes. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other assigned team members in accordance with BACB supervision requirements. Ensure documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and supervision records are completed accurately and within required timelines to support compliance and billing integrity. Maintain strong and collaborative communication with families, caregivers, clinical leadership, and interdisciplinary providers. Support caregivers with education, coaching, and treatment collaboration in a way that is empowering, respectful, and aligned with client goals. Maintain a high standard of ethical and professional conduct in alignment with BACB Ethics Code requirements, payer expectations, and Touchstone values. Be dependable with scheduling, communication, responsiveness, and follow-through, recognizing the importance of consistency in clinical care. Be open to feedback, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth to strengthen clinical effectiveness and team development. If You Were the BCBA Now, Here Are Some of the Core Activities You Would Be Doing Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in home, clinic, school, or community settings. Familiarity with Medicaid / payer documentation requirements and utilization expectations. Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary treatment teams. Utah Compliance Considerations Maintain documentation, treatment plans, and progress reporting in alignment with Medicaid and payer billing requirements. Ensure supervision requirements are consistently met according to BACB standards and payer expectations. Maintain active credentialing, licensure, and payer eligibility requirements. Support audit readiness and documentation integrity for assigned clinical services. Participate in required trainings, compliance expectations, and quality assurance initiatives.
