Success in this role means balancing clinical expertise with emotional intelligence, strong communication, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset.</p>\n<p>This role carries significant influence across both client outcomes and team culture, as you are not only responsible for the quality and effectiveness of treatment, but also serve as a key source of support, guidance, and trust for families and team members.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To Be Successful in This Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognize the level of trust families place in you and approach your work with professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence.</li>\n<li>Conduct behavioral assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), treatment planning, and progress monitoring in accordance with BACB ethical standards and payer requirements.</li>\n<li>Design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with client needs, family goals, and measurable clinical outcomes.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other assigned team members in accordance with BACB supervision requirements.</li>\n<li>Ensure documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and supervision records are completed accurately and within required timelines to support compliance and billing integrity.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong and collaborative communication with families, caregivers, clinical leadership, and interdisciplinary providers.</li>\n<li>Support caregivers with education, coaching, and treatment collaboration in a way that is empowering, respectful, and aligned with client goals.</li>\n<li>Maintain a high standard of ethical and professional conduct in alignment with BACB Ethics Code requirements, payer expectations, and Touchstone values.</li>\n<li>Be dependable with scheduling, communication, responsiveness, and follow-through, recognizing the importance of consistency in clinical care.</li>\n<li>Be open to feedback, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth to strengthen clinical effectiveness and team development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Meet Your Future Team</span></p>\n<p>This role works closely with:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)</li>\n<li>Clinical leadership</li>\n<li>Client families and caregivers</li>\n<li>Administrative support team</li>\n<li>Referral / intake coordination</li>\n<li>Other interdisciplinary providers as appropriate</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a BCBA, you are both a clinical expert and a leader within the organization, helping shape the quality of services, family experience, and team development.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">If You Were the BCBA Now, Here Are Some of the Core Activities You Would Be Doing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in home, clinic, school, or community settings.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Medicaid / payer documentation requirements and utilization expectations.</li>\n<li>Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary treatment teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Utah Compliance Considerations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain documentation, treatment plans, and progress reporting in alignment with Medicaid and payer billing requirements.</li>\n<li>Ensure supervision requirements are consistently met according to BACB standards and payer expectations.</li>\n<li>Maintain active credentialing, licensure, and payer eligibility requirements.</li>\n<li>Support audit readiness and documentation integrity for assigned clinical services.</li>\n<li>Participate in required trainings, compliance expectations, and quality assurance initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Here Are Some of the Things You Could Be Working On in the Future</span></p>\n<p>As Touchstone continues to grow, there may be opportunities to expand your impact through:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentoring developing clinicians and clinical team members.</li>\n<li>Supporting onboarding and clinical training initiatives.</li>\n<li>Participating in program development, quality improvement, and clinical innovation projects.</li>\n<li>Supporting specialty programming, service-line development, or expanded behavioral health offerings.</li>\n<li>Taking on leadership growth opportunities within clinical operations.</li>\n</ul>",
