    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>This position is anticipated to be available beginning August 1, 2026.</u></strong></p><p><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong><u>General Description</u></strong></span></p><p><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Under the guidance of the Medical Administrative Director, the Medical Logistician will provide support to Medical Services of the NASA Environmental and Medical Contract (NEMCON) and work closely with Logistics and the Program Management Office. The Medical Logistician will be responsible for completing a variety of functions including inventory management, preservation, issuance, stock and quality control, and property management. &nbsp; They will also assist with the management of an AED program and will be able to instruct some health-related courses including American Heart Association Basic Life Support. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong><u>How You Will Fulfill Your Mission</u></strong></span></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Develop and implement a medical equipment maintenance system to manage inventory, shelf life, and expiring inventory</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Construct and implement monthly training schedules to include CPR, AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen training for all NASA employees at Kennedy Space Center (KSC)</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Ensure all training records are properly organized and maintained</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Maintain and audit the Public Access Defibrillator program for Kennedy Space Center</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Ensure proper vehicle management functions are complete by ensuring all General Service Administration (GSA) vehicles are properly maintained in accordance with manufacturer and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards&nbsp;</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Appropriately maintain and track triage van inventory&nbsp;</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Provide on-site launch support through the management of emergency medical supplies and acting as a member of the direct support medical triage team for select launches and training events in the capacity of driver, logistician and/or medic.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Support the property management program functions in support of the HSG/NEMCON contract by coordinating with different teams to ensure the safety of facilities and grounds&nbsp;</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Transport instruments to and from onsite and offsite calibration laboratories for service as required</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Act as a liaison between Medical Personnel and Logistics, responding to questions and resolving problems</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Attend meetings and create reports as necessary to communicate status updates</li></ul><p><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><em>The duties and responsibilities described in this position description in no way state or imply that these are the only duties performed.
