Position Summary As the Dayforce HRIS System Administrator , you’ll play a key role in powering Freshpet’s people experience through technology. You’ll manage, optimize, and elevate our Dayforce HRIS platform ensuring it runs seamlessly and supports our growing team’s needs. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Operations and Transformation , you’ll be part of a forward-thinking HR team that’s shaping how Freshpet supports and scales its most important asset: our people. This role is perfect for someone who loves the intersection of HR, technology, and transformation. A problem solver who’s excited to build, innovate, and make work better every day. Key Responsibilities System Administration & Optimization Serve as Freshpet’s Dayforce subject matter expert and system administrator, managing configuration, security, and functionality across all modules. Continuously optimize workflows and processes to enhance the employee and manager experience. Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to identify and implement system improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy. Manage system releases, testing, and integrations to ensure stability and performance. Data Management & Insights Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee data across the system. Build and deliver actionable reports and dashboards that provide insight into key people metrics. Champion data-driven decision-making by providing HR and leadership teams with reliable analytics. Collaboration & Support Work hand-in-hand with HR Operations and business partners to understand their needs and translate them into scalable HRIS solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while serving as the primary contact for Dayforce support and vendors. Provide ongoing training and support for HR users, empowering them to leverage the system effectively. Transformation & Continuous Improvement Support HR transformation initiatives, ensuring system capabilities align with evolving business strategies. Seek opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the employee lifecycle through smart system design. Partner with the Sr. Manager, HR Operations and Transformation to drive projects that enhance the overall HR technology ecosystem. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience 5+ years of experience with HRIS administration, preferably with Ceridian Dayforce . Hands-on experience with HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules strongly preferred. Skills & Capabilities Proficiency in Dayforce configuration, workflows, and reporting. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights. Excellent communication skills, you know how to explain tech in human terms. Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a drive to make things better every day. Experience in fast-growing or transformation-oriented environments is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Dayforce certifications (HCM, Payroll, or Benefits). Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field required. Experience with integrations (API, SFTP), HR analytics tools like Power BI. Passion for building intuitive systems that make work easier and more human.
