Must be detail oriented and capable of maintaining process requirements and process documentation with precision. Capable of working safely in a clean working environment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Follow written instructions, including interpreting blueprints and customer drawings.</li><li>Plan, Setup and operate single- &amp; double-sided lapping machines.</li><li>Maintain equipment as necessary.</li><li>Work with the supervisor and facilities staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.</li><li>Work with engineering to assist and improve the lapping operations.</li><li>Hold close tolerances on size, flatness, finish etc. on a variety of parts.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and requirements.</li><li>Report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisor and/or management immediately.</li><li>Keep all work areas clean and organized.</li><li>Perform in-process inspection of 1st articles produced to ensure specifications and quality requirements are met.</li><li>Inspect and clean parts as needed.</li><li>Perform secondary operations as needed.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Able to read and interpret blueprints and customer drawings</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Sound judgment and good organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>Solid necessary math skills, including measuring and keeping count records.</li><li>Able to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.</li><li>Commitment to safety</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Machining of ceramic materials</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating either a lapping/polishing table OR 3 years or relevant machining experience, such as setting up surface grinders, Blanchard, or other CNC- and manual machines.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
