The designer will conduct user research, develop front‑end solutions, and maintain UX documentation to support integration with backend systems and mission workflows.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Duties</strong></h2><p>• Write and maintain front‑end code to implement UX designs<br>• Design and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement<br>• Develop front‑end components using modern web technologies<br>• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front‑end code with existing backend services<br>• Ensure front‑end implementations meet performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility requirements<br>• Develop and maintain UX documentation including design guidelines, style guides, technical plans, milestones, and user guides</p><hr><h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2><p>• Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with six (6) years, or Doctoral degree with four (4) years<br>• Alternatively, Associate’s degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with twelve (12) years of relevant experience<br>• Experience working in Agile development environments<br>• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript<br>• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks including React and Vue.js<br>• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph</p><hr><h2><strong>Compensation</strong></h2><p>• Salary range: $145,000 – $165,000<br>• Benefits</p><p>Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
