It is imperative that we have people on these teams who enjoy and understand the importance of delivering our goods in a timely, safe, and satisfactory manner.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Tuesday-Saturday Work Schedule (Sundays and Mondays off!)</strong></p><p>If you have gotten this far and are still interested, we want to speak with you to see if we are a good fit for each other. Please see below for details about the position.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Title: Home Delivery Specialist</strong></p><p><strong>Reports to: Delivery Manager&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Purpose of position: Ensure that furniture is transported and transitioned in perfect shape resulting in our guests having a legendary delivery experience plus a more beautiful and comfortable home.</p><p><strong>Job Type: Full-time, Scheduled days would be Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 am is start time for delivery.</strong></p><p><strong>Main Objectives:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Driving our box truck responsibly with respect to all DOT regulations, property, and landscaping</li><li>Unloading and setting up new furniture in our clients&rsquo; home and being respectful of our clients&rsquo; home</li><li>Working efficiently, safely, and respectfully with a teammate on each delivery</li><li>Accurately completing all paperwork (including electronic) related to complete/incomplete deliveries or returns.</li><li>Create new ideas that will help improve guest experience, delivery efficiency/safety, etc. share them with The Furniture Mall management.</li><li>Develop long-term customer relationships.</li><li>Develop new customer leads through referrals from satisfied customers. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required&nbsp;</li><li>Some college &ndash; preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Strong Communication skills and ability to work as a team</li><li>Positive attitude and strong worth ethic</li><li>Adaptability and ability to work through adverse situations &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds without the aid of another.</li><li>Drivers must be 21 or older and able to obtain a Health Card from KSDOT (paid for by company) and pass a UA&nbsp;</li><li>Helpers must be 18 or older and pass a UA&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop, push and pull in the performance of operational duties</li><li>Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight hours at a time while performing work duties</li><li>Must be able to work in various temperatures and environmental conditions</li><li>Must have vision and hearing corrected to be able to legally operate a vehicle under various environmental and traffic conditions</li><li>Must be able to maintain balance and climb two to eight feet on a ladder in order to place accessories.</li><li>Must be able to maintain amicable work relationships with fellow employees and perform all essential job functions&nbsp;</li><li>Undertake and complete other work-related responsibilities as assigned by management</li><li>Undertake and support any policy, change, system, or work rules the company implements regarding the purpose of this position&nbsp;</li></ul><p><em><u>Pay Range: $17-$19 and is based on position (driver versus helper), individual experience, and performance bonuses.&nbsp;</u></em></p><p><strong>Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Best work/life balance ratio of any comparable position</li><li>Free Cookies, Custard &amp; Coffee!&nbsp;</li><li>Family-owned business with none of that <em>corporate attitude</em>&nbsp;</li><li>Employee Discounts&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Full-time Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance</li><li>401K with Company Match</li><li>Complimentary Life Insurance</li><li>Vacation Time</li><li>Three paid Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter</li></ul><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and provide a drug free working environment.
