The ideal candidate will have programming experience, the ability to read part prints, use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring devices. A basic understanding of Machining theory is required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. A solid work ethic is required.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34058\"><strong data-gid=\"34059\"><u data-gid=\"34060\">KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34064\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\" data-gid=\"34065\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34066\">Confidence in the basics of working on conventional equipment: manual Lathe, Bridgeport milling machine, drill press and surface grinder.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34067\">Experience setting up a CNC milling machine and preparing the tools needed to make a part, (programming skills are optional).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34068\">The ability to set up and run a wire EDM.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34069\">Must be capable of using measuring instruments, for example: dial and digital calipers, micrometers, pin and block gauges.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34070\">Must know how to use hand tools (cordless drill and air grinder).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34071\">Excellent self-management and time-management skills are needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34072\">Must know how to read technical drawings and prints.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34073\">The ability to prioritize your work schedule.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34074\">The willingness to learn new work-related procedures and skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34075\">Overtime required when needed.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34076\"><strong data-gid=\"34077\"><u data-gid=\"34078\">&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34079\"><strong data-gid=\"34080\"><u data-gid=\"34081\">WORK CONDITIONS</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-gid=\"34082\"><span data-teams=\"true\" data-pasted=\"true\">The employee will work both on the manufacturing floor and in the machine shop and office.
