This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship. The Technician works closely with the Service Advisor and Service Management teams to ensure accurate communication, efficient workflow, and a superior customer experience. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles following OEM guidelines and safety standards.</li>\n <li>Conduct inspections, identify repair needs, and provide accurate documentation for repair orders. </li>\n <li>Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using OEM approved equipment and tools. </li>\n <li>Complete warranty repairs in accordance with OEM requirements and documentation standards. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs, timelines, and technical findings.</li>\n <li>Road test vehicles as necessary to verify concerns and confirm successful repairs. </li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards. </li>\n <li>Participate in ongoing OEM training, certification programs, and professional development.</li>\n <li>Follow all dealership processes, including proper parts handling, workflow procedures, and safety protocols. </li>\n <li>Mentor apprentices or junior technicians as assigned by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned by leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Red Seal Certified Automotive Service Technician (or equivalent provincial certification).</li>\n <li>Strong diagnostic and repair skills with experience in electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.</li>\n <li>Previous dealership experience or familiarity with OEM repair systems preferred. </li>\n <li>Ability to use OEM diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and modern repair technologies.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. </li>\n <li>Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. </li>\n <li>Additional OEM specific certifications are an asset.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Words: Red Seal, RedSeal, Shop, Transmission, Recon, Master, 310 S, 310S, 310T, 310 T, Journeyman, Chevrolet, Chevy, GM, Cadillac, GMC, drivability, diagnostic Tech, electrical tech, foreman</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>INDCFO</p>\n<h2>Posted Salary Range</h2>CAD $37.00 - CAD $50.00 /Hr.\n<h2>Disclosures</h2>\n<p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace.
