    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>The Project Manager will be responsible for performing project management and manufacturing planning tasks for jobs and projects in a technical and dynamic aerospace environment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Duties include, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Creates a work environment that is conducive for teamwork and strong professional development.</li>\n <li>Takes assigned projects from estimating stage through to completion, while providing budgeting and operational justifications, as well as performing manufacturing planning.</li>\n <li>Provides customer interface for Project Kickoff, Design Reviews, Manufacturability Discussions, Engineering Change Discussions, Equitable Adjustment, and other responsibilities as assigned.</li>\n <li>Performs initial and ongoing project reviews with internal/external customers.</li>\n <li>Develops manufacturing planning, including material takeoffs, project schedule, and coordinates with the top management to schedule and plan work efficiently.</li>\n <li>Identifies process deficiencies and develops solutions to correct and/or improve, root cause, and process flow.</li>\n <li>Coordinates the lessons learned/project reflection process for each assigned project.</li>\n <li>Perform additional assignments and/or duties as assigned by manager.</li>\n <li>Customer Status support that may require contact (verbal, written, or both) as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3-7 years of engineering or project management experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams.</li>\n <li>Possesses critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li>\n <li>Ability to lead by influencing, negotiating, and delegating.</li>\n <li>Experience working in an AS9100 regulated environment.</li>\n <li>Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Project.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PMP Certification, or equivalent work experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day uninterrupted.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Special Note</h2>\n<p>The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.</p>\n<h2>Benefits and Compensation</h2>At MAG Aerospace, we value your contributions providing our employees with a robust Total Rewards package that supports your total well-being.
