Within Thomson Reuters they will work with a team in supporting portfolio stakeholder engagement work and project coordination. This will include the tracking of projects, financials, communications with stakeholders to ensure awareness of whose responsible, accountable, consulted and informed.</p>\n<p>Innovation &amp; Business Analysis</p>\n<p>There will be wide variety of opportunities to work in an innovative role within this young division of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Thomson Reuter</span>s to bring forward new ideas and systems in addition to being able to take on individual projects. This will include the creation of various diagrams, documentation, excel and access metrics to communicate and analyze the current state of the business unit.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft O365 Enterprise Suite of Applications</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Candidate MUST be a currently enrolled Minnesota State University Mankato student</span></span></li>\n<li>Typical responsibilities may include complex data mining, trend analysis, metric and report production, process maturity and compliance assessment, process flow charting, and iterative process activities (e.g. validity checks, change reviews, data quality checks tool enhancement design and review).<br></li>\n<li>Social Media Marketing, Podcast/Vodcast experience a huge PLUS</li>\n<li>Understands the strategy, organizational authority, interdependence of job duties, systems, and services of an enterprise and how to operate within</li>\n<li>Understands the importance of employee experience and its benefit to company performance</li>\n<li>Understanding information and data flow and how business users interact within and outside an organization</li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work in a global matrix organization with insourced and outsourced team members</li>\n<li>Ability to define specifications from user requirements</li>\n<li>Prepares written materials to meet purpose and audience</li>\n<li>Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external teams</li>\n<li>Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group</li>\n<li>Effective time management; maximizes productivity</li>\n<li>Must be an independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision-making and analytical skills</li>\n<li>Recommends process and tool improvements, reviews improvement proposals</li>\n<li>Ensures that documented requirements meet quality standards.</li>\n<li>Defines, develops, and coaches others in best practices for requirements gathering and management.</li>\n<li>Enjoys a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Flexible schedule - employees set their own schedules.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior (with at least 8 months left before gradation) </span></li>\n<li><span>Undergraduate student pursuing a degree within the College of Business (Management etc.) -OR- Management Information Systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Hours - 20 hours a week while you are taking classes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Hours - 40 hours a week over the summer.</span></li>\n<li>Self-motivated, quick learner, enthusiastic, and eager to apply knowledge.</li>\n</ul>",
