    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Acuren is seeking an experienced Estimator to help support operations in Houston, TX.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Experienced Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the bidding process, gathering sub-contractor & material quotes. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and clients.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials and equipment.</li>\n <li>Review drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates</li>\n <li>Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes</li>\n <li>Identify risks and opportunities within project scope</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during pre-construction and execution phases</li>\n <li>Maintain and update cost databases and historical data</li>\n <li>Participate in bid reviews and client meetings as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of experience in estimating within oil & gas or infrastructure</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of project management and construction/industrial processes</li>\n <li>Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage or similar)</li>\n <li>Experience using Microsoft Project is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Rope Access expereince is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills</li>\n <li>Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
