As required by local law, Coachella Valley Behavioral Health provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct social history assessment of the patient through observation and patient/family interview, obtaining information on the patient’s needs, skills, interests and limitations for the development and implementation of the treatment plan.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and plan programs and activities to meet patient’s social and emotional needs. </li>\n <li>Promote recovery, symptom reduction and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.</li>\n <li>Provides crisis management and family sessions to assist the family in understanding the implications and complexities of a life situation and its impact on lifestyle. </li>\n <li>Assist in the development of effective treatment plans that apply therapeutic principles appropriately while ensuring safety at all times for the patient.</li>\n <li>Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meeting to discuss patient assessment, treatment plan and ongoing discharge plan.</li>\n <li>Communicate or aid family members in understanding and supporting the patient.</li>\n <li>Manage a caseload and assume responsibility for patient chart documentation.</li>\n <li>Facilitate education, process groups, support groups and referrals as requested.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
