    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Follows American Heart Association training methods, by instructing in-house and community advanced life support classes and programs to include ACLS, PALS, BLS and credentialing in Moderate Sedation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2> \n<li> Works closely with the other departmental staff to determine course selection.</li> \n<li> Monitors the appropriateness of educational presentations.</li> \n<li> Oversees student performance.</li> \n<li> Answers student questions during course presentation.</li> \n<li> Remediates or oversees remediation of students during the course.</li> \n<li> Actively participates in post course debriefing session.</li> \n<li> Sets up or takes down learning/skills stations.</li> \n<li> Prepares or completes all necessary paperwork for course completion cards to be issued by the Training Center.</li> \n<li> Uses feedback from program evaluation mechanisms to improve performance.</li> \n<li> Reports damaged or missing items promptly and within scope of training.</li> \n<li> Performs other duties as required or assigned.</li> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul> \n <li> Must have taught 8 courses in the same discipline as requested for appointment.</li> \n <li> Completion of Life Support Training Programs and TCF orientation course with successful monitoring by Life Support Training Programs Manager/Coordinator required.</li> \n <li> Must be motivated to teach, to facilitate learning and ensure that students acquire the skills necessary to successful course completion.</li> \n <li> The ability to work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy required.</li> \n <li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills desired.</li> \n</ul>\n<h2>Required Licensure/Certifications</h2>\n<ul> \n <li> Certified Instructor in either Basic Life Support (BLSI) or Advanced Life Support (ACLSI) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALSI) required. </li> \n</ul>",
