Senior Electrical Engineer 3600 Arco Corporate Dr, Suite 200, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States Full-time Are you excited about understanding, interpreting, and navigating complex policy issues? Join our solutions for Industry department, as our new Senior Electrical Engineer and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. As our new Senior Electrical Engineer in any of these locations: Binghamton NY, Syracuse NY or Charlotte, NC Your key responsibilities will be: Design for electrical power distribution (medium/low voltage) systems, grounding systems, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, communication systems, etc. with a main focus on the industrial market segment. Demonstrate a clear understanding of industry codes and standards, and develop code analysis reports. Preferred code knowledge includes NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE Standards, energy code, and building code. Familiarity with utility standards preferred. Serve as a technical lead electrical engineer and lead a team of electrical designers, electrical engineers, and coordinate the work into the final design deliverables. Serve as a mentor, developing the technical skills of others. Act as the client interface representing the electrical discipline and lead other disciplines during a design program. Act as the project manager on small to mid-scale electrical projects. This includes the ability to interact with the client at the request for proposal stage, develop letter proposals and fee estimates, prepare and deliver presentations to the client, and act as the Ramboll representative throughout project duration. Provide support for construction projects, including cost estimating, construction phasing/scheduling, site inspections, punch list development, and shop drawing review.
