Adjunct faculty members work in a collaborative manner with full and part-time colleagues and adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined in the UCO Faculty and Employee Handbooks.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">Adjunct instructors are required to attend yearly training session(s) and coordinate with the department faculty to achieve course continuity, assessment, and quality as required.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><strong>Qualifications/Experience Required</strong><br />\r\nPossesses at least a master&#39;s degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval). Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Higher-education teaching experience preferred. If academic degrees are not specifically related to the Japanese language, then teaching experience must demonstrate the ability to teach beginning language.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><strong>Physical Demands</strong><br />\r\nReasonable accommodations (in accordance with ADA requirements) may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</span></span></p>\r\n",
