    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;Provides and manages all aspects of patient care in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards based on the scope of a Registered Nurse, under the direction / delegation of the NP or MD.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assesses,&shy; evaluates and identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and current patients; triages medical needs in an accurate and precise way through patient history, interviewing and careful examination; assist with components of physical exam as ordered by NP or MD</li><li>Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making and recommending necessary adjustments; following agency and medical department philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state practice act, and other governing agency; &shy;&shy;monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pules and respiration) as ordered by NP or MD</li><li>Administer medication accurately, observe, monitor and evaluate responses including side effects, involuntary movements and adherence to prescribed medication; log medications, audit, document and coordinate prescriptions with external pharmacies, &nbsp;Safely prepare and dispense daily doses to clients, ensuring accurate identification, proper documentation, and adherence to controlled substance protocols.</li><li>Provide client education on medication purpose, dosing schedules, side effects, and safe use as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment plans and promote client safety and recovery outcomes</li><li>Collaborate in sharing information with other members of the medical team; assist in development of solutions to ensure health, comfort and safety of patients served; coordination of patient referrals; assist in facilitating the patients&rsquo; transition within and between health care settings (admitting, transferring and discharging patients)</li><li>Promote patient independence by establishing patient goals and teaching patients, friends and family to understand the condition, medications and self-care skills; act as a patients&rsquo; advocate for families, individuals, groups and communities; educate patients about preventive care and prescribed treatments; Interpret and educate treatment plans, test/ lab results, medications and diagnoses of patients&rsquo; individualized treatment plan</li><li>Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations; oversee management of adequate inventory of medical supplies and medications</li><li>Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records; manage and maintain patient health records to ensure compliance</li><li>Provide oversight, delegation and direction to LPN and MA; ensure use of established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards under the disciplines scope of practice</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>Basic computer skills; basic mathematical skills</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Adhere to acceptable professional/clinical boundaries and confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Strong medical aptitude</li><li>Proficient in medical instruments and equipment</li><li>Familiarity with the EHR medical charting system</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently</li><li>High attention to detail and thoroughness</li><li>Able to work proactively independently and as a team</li><li>High level of compassion</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing, Bachelor&rsquo;s preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years&rsquo; nursing experience</li><li>Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and current auto insurance&nbsp;</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Essential Functions/Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned.
