Job Summary- General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) Bothell is a key division of General Dynamics, specializing in the design and development of innovative guided munitions and critical space deployment devices. Located in Bothell, Washington, our facility focuses on delivering cutting edge products and technologies that support the critical needs of the defense and aerospace industries. With a strong emphasis on precision engineering, quality, and performance, GD-OTS Bothell plays a key role in ensuring the success of complex missions for our customers. Responsibilities- Essential Functions: Assist senior manufacturing engineers with process development, optimization, and documentation for new product development. Support the creation and modification of work instructions, tool requirements, and standard operating procedures. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Assist in the design, test, and implementation of fixtures, jigs, and other tooling and manufacturing aids. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations. Present work with internal and external customers. Qualifications- Required Qualifications: Completed a minimum of 2-3 years of Mechanical Engineering coursework, working towards a BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements: No or very little travel likely. Pay Range (USD) $23.58 - $28.18 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process. Benefits Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k plan and are eligible for the Non-Contributory Retirement Contribution. In addition to the benefits discussed above, the company offers the following voluntary benefits: Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Identify Theft Protection, Enhanced Legal Services, Auto and Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Commuter Benefits, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Educational Assistance.
