    "description_html": "<p>PrimeCare Medical is currently looking for a <strong>Psychiatric Technician</strong> to work in the medical department at the <strong>Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA.</strong><br></p><p><strong>This is a Monday - Friday position, 40 hours per week, during normal business hours. (8:00am-4:30pm).<br></strong></p><p><u><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><p>The psychiatric technician is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of the behavior health program.</p><p><em>Other duties include:</em></p><ul><li>Responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordination, and implementation of the behavioral health program in accordance with NCCHC/ACA/MCCS<br>Standards.</li><li>Engage inmates/patients in psycho-educational groups and individual encounters, with a focus on seriously mentally ill patients/inmates.</li><li>Actively assist with the detection and prevention of inmate/patient suicide by reporting concerns to supervisory staff</li><li>Assist in the coordination of the admission and placement of certified inmates/patients in forensic and community behavioral health facilities. Initiate the paperwork required for the inmates/patient’s admission.</li><li>Document clinical services provided in the electronic medical record in a complete, accurate and timely manner.</li><li>Monitor inmates/patients on segregation units; particularly those identified as seriously mentally ill.</li><li>Monitor and track supplies required to provide services.</li><li>Obtain releases from patients to request and obtain records from patient’s previous treatment providers.</li><li>Serve as a member of various committees within the medical unit and facility, as necessary.</li><li>Participate in all in-service education programs according to the annual in-service calendar.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality at ALL times.</li><li>Any/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegated.<br><br></li></ul><p><u><strong>Benefits:</strong></u></p><p>PrimeCare believes in offering a competitive compensation and benefits package to all their employees.
