    "description": "<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>We perform installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance for manufacturing and industrial markets across the Southeast.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Southern Industrial Constructors seeks Material Handler for an on-going site in West Jefferson, NC - the site has access to customer cafeteria and food services and is in a controlled environment. This role is for an on-going assignment. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI-VB1</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide necessary parts/materials to the manufacturing area in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Operate fork lift and other material handling equipment.</li>\n <li>Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or other designated areas and documents transactions.</li>\n <li>Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves.</li>\n <li>Perform all Kitting processes.</li>\n <li>Ability to identify and solve any kitting discrepancies.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform all tasks on both docks.</li>\n <li>Should be able to perform most RFS processes.</li>\n <li>Perform clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. Materials may be hazardous.</li>\n <li>Maintain documentation and traceability of material.</li>\n <li>Have a strong understanding of inventory control measures.</li>\n <li>Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation to receive materials and verify materials to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Identify and solve all discrepancies.</li>\n <li>Enters and maintains records in the computer. Resolve/correct errors for direct receipts.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to work independently as well as foster positive work practices in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities and delegate as necessary.</li>\n <li>Must have the skills and ability to guide all employees through work processes.</li>\n <li>Must have the knowledge and ability to train all employees in work processes.</li>\n <li>As required, perform safety inspections of work area, equipment and tools, in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program. Resolve all discrepancies found through inspections.</li>\n <li>Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.</li>\n <li>Observes SIC/Client Safety processes and procedures at all times.</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Forklift operating and box truck driving experience is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, freezers, and warehouses, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property and buildings</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely access all areas of property and buildings</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment</li>\n <li>Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools</li>\n <li>Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working on ladders, and in awkward body positions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*Nothing in this job description restricts the Company’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.</p>\n<p><strong><em>Notice to prospective employees:</em></strong>  There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
